Whether you're at home or at work, ordering online from Wishbone is quick and easy and can be done at anytime of the day. We deliver food monday to friday from 7.30am until 7.30pm with morning, lunch and evening deliveries available.  Feel free to have a look around and see what takes your fancy from our online menu. To quickly find out delivery options to your address: add an item to your cart, click check out, enter your address and our calendar will show available delivery times. Please note that we are unable to deliver to PO boxes & Rural addresses and catering orders require advance notice.

Wellington 90 minute delivery 

Available Monday to Friday 7.30am-5pm, for the Wellington CBD, Kaiwharawhara, Petone & Ngauranga. For early morning delivery please place your order before 3.30pm the previous day.

Wellington Suburbs Delivery 

Available Monday to Friday, includes Upper Hutt & Porirua.

  • Morning Delivery is between 7am-11am. Please order before 3.30pm the previous day.
  • Lunch delivery is between 10am-1pm. Please order by 9am.
  • Evening Delivery is between 4.30pm-7.30pm. Please order by 2.30pm.

Auckland & Christchurch Express Evening Delivery 

Express Evening delivery will have it at your door between 6-9pm tonight! Order by 11am for same day delivery. Available Monday-Friday.

Nationwide Next Day Delivery

Delivery between 8am-5pm the following Day*, available Tuesday-Friday. Please order by 3.30pm the day prior. * Please note this is the targeted delivery time given by courier post. Deliveries to business addresses will usually be delivered by 9am.

How it’s delivered

To keep our food chilled we have created a custom insulated box to keep the food cool while it’s being delivered to your door.* Please make sure you are there to receive it or have someone pop it in the fridge for you as you will need to get your meals into chilled storage once you've received them.

We know you care about the environment – so do we, which is why we offer vouchers for all returned packaging.* Simply bring in your undamaged box (complete with liners and ice) to one of our stores and we will email you a $5 voucher. 

**60 minute delivery is transported without ice packs due to the short time delivery time. Packaging returns are currently only available in wellington and are for chilled boxes only.

Who delivers it

We use Pace and Courier Post to deliver our food. Once it leaves our kitchen we entrust it to our lovely couriers. If you have not received your food by the time specified, please contact the courier directly with your tracking reference as per below. The exact time of your delivery will depend on time, traffic and where you are located so the food could be delivered anytime within the delivery window chosen. i.e. a morning delivery will be received anytime between 7am-11am. Remember our fresh food is perishable so to make sure it gets to you please note any special delivery instructions at checkout and make sure you are there to receive it.

How to track an order

Once your order has been received, you will be sent a confirmation email as well as separate email with a tracking reference. Please follow the instructions in this email to track your delivery. 

Payment

We accept all major credit cards and can assure you that online transactions are secure through our paying and billing service provider Payment Express using Px Pay 2.0. Payment Express hosts and manages the payment page, which is secured by its own SSL certificate.

Large & Advanced Orders

As all our products are made fresh every day, we may not be able to deliver very large orders within the standard delivery time. You can place an online order for our normal menu up to three weeks in advance and catering orders up to three months in advance.  For orders outside of these times & large orders please contact us to arrange your order. 

Out of Stock

Since our chefs work in shifts around the clock and we are regularly re-stocking our online store, it is our hope for every product to be in stock all the time. However if a product is unavailable please check back in a few hours or for urgent orders gives us a call or visit one of our stores located throughout the country.

We are currently offering a smaller range of all our favourite products for our online store. If something is not available online please visit one of our stores located throughout the country for our full range or drop us a line with your suggestions.

Freezing Meals

While our heat & eat meals will be at their best when eaten fresh they can be frozen. Freeze before the day use by date for up to 3 months. Meals can be defrosted overnight in the refrigerator or alternatively heated directly from frozen. If heating from frozen, heat in the microwave for an extra 4 - 5 minutes than the recommended heating time or until piping hot.

We won’t charge you extra for large orders, so feel free to stock up with as much as you need and you’ll pay the same great flat delivery rate.

Free Delivery

Delivery is free for orders over $50 and for on-site catering at Wishbone ASB sports centre, Wellington and Wishbone Middlemore Hospital, Auckland.

Catering Orders

Catering orders have a confirmation policy of 48 hours for Wellington and 72 hours for the rest of country. If you order items from our normal online menu as well as our catering menu they will treated as a catering order and shipped together. If you wish to receive the items separately, please place another order. We offer free delivery and on-site catering facilities at our Middlemore Hospital & ASB sports centre cafes.

Wishbone Guarantee

Wishbone is made with 100% love by professional chefs every day so we hope you will be fully satisfied with your order. Every product carries our QC Seal of Approval and a Best Before date. If you are not satisfied, please email online@wishbone.co.nz within 24hours of receiving your order and we can discuss providing you with a replacement or refund. Please note: we are unable to replace a product that was ordered by mistake. However, if we include an incorrect product in your order we will credit you for the missing product.  If your order is damaged on arrival please let us know within 24 hours of receiving it so we can investigate this and provide you with a replacement order as soon as possible.

If you've already placed an order please have your order reference handy. For orders made over the phone you'll need to email, fax or post us confirmation so that we can charge your credit card.

Cancellations

Once the payment has been processed and you’ve received a confirmation email, it is not possible to cancel your order. At this point processing of your order is underway and cannot be reversed.
