Level Two NZ ~ Level Four Auckland
As we move to level two for the majority of the country, we are excited to announce the reopening of most of our stores.
From Wednesday 8th September, the following Wishbone stores will be opening:
Wellington Airport, Vic Uni, Featherston, Hunter, James Cook Arcade, No.1 the Terrace, Stout Street, Mercer, Wellington Hospital, and Hutt Medispace.
Our Wishbone Christchurch Airport, ASB Centre, Tiny Terrace, South Lambton Quay, and North Lambton Quay, along with our Cargo Wellington Airport store, will remain closed until further notice, however we are aiming to have these open by Monday 13th September.
Some stores may be operating with reduced hours due to the change in alert levels, please bear with us whilst we navigate the most ideal opening times for each store.
Our Auckland stores will remain closed until further notice, dependent on changes to the alert levels for the Auckland region.
The New Covid Normal In Store: Delta Alert Level Two
In line with the government guidelines, all customers must wear a face mask, or covering whilst in store, unless you are able to provide an exemption. All customers must sign themselves in, using either the COVID tracing app, or by manually signing our register.
We will require all customers to keep a 2m distance from others, and where possible will provide spaced out markings on the floors for customers whilst queuing.
Our tables and chairs have all been spaced out to abide by the 2m distancing guidelines, please do not attempt to move tables or chairs without consulting a staff member as this may disrupt the spacing for other customers.
Our friendly and well trained Wishbone retail staff also have strict guidelines to follow whist working, these include, but are not limited to:
- Wearing a mask at all times in store
- Wearing gloves whilst handling any food
- Regular sanitising, and washing of hands – especially between customers, or if handling any cash
- A strict cleaning and sanitising schedule, including all door handles, benches, tables and chairs, fridge doors and windows, other surfaces in store, all around the counter and POS machines, particularly our EFTPOS machines
Please bear with us we navigate the reopening of our stores, and implementation of our full in store menu over the next few days. Some our stores may have limited stock availability as we work through the expected demand in level two.
